Course Description:  Pump Operations, Basic Description: A course designed for new operators with emphasis on hands-on operation of pumpersat draft and from hydrants, and relay operations. Prerequisites: Junior Firefighters must be Firefighter Level I certified Equip. Req: Full turnout gear required. Departments sending students are strongly encouraged to send apparatus, if possible. Hours: 16 Standard/Reg: Based on NFPA 1002 Special Note: This is not a certification course. Students will receive VDFP training hours and a Certificate of Attendance.

Prerequisites:  Student must have EVOC Class 3, Junior Firefighters must be Firefighter Level I certified.

Equip. Req: Full turnout gear required. Students are encouraged to bring apparatus for practical sessions.
