Fauquier County is nestled in the heart of Virginia horse and wine country and is considered the beautiful bridge between the bustling Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area, Northern Virginia and the tranquil foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our Volunteer fire companies, augmented by career personnel, protect and preserve this county and its citizens with Fire, Paramedic Emergency Medical, Rescue, Hazard Mitigation and Emergency Management services.

This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.

NOTE: Supply chain disruptions have caused production delays on Kidde Lockbox Store orders. All current and new orders are delayed up to two months.

In an emergency, a rapid entry system can help eliminate barriers, reduce injuries, and minimize property damage. In compliance with International Fire Code, these police/fire department lock boxes are mounted securely near building doors, gates, and other entrances. If an alarm sounds, emergency personnel have immediate access to the facility. 

If you are a resident or business in Fauquier County looking for a key entry lock box, Rapid Entry System Lock Boxes by Kidde are available to purchase online at Lockbox.ShopKidde.com.  

You will need to set up an account on the website. Once complete, you can search “Find Your Fire Department” and enter “Fauquier”.  Select our department “Fauquier Co Fire Rescue ES” and hit submit.  From there you will be able to make your product selection and checkout.  The box will be shipped directly to you for you to install at your house/business.

Once it is installed and set, contact us and we will come out to lock it.
