This Blended Learning Emergency Vehicle Operator course provides the student the opportunity to participate in the online didactic (classroom modules) associated with an approved VDFP - EVOC course. If taking for credit, this course shall not be taken more than 30 days prior to the beginning of an approved course with a VDFP School Number. The student will be responsible for successfully completing all three online sessions and providing the Lead Instructor of the course or the VDFP Division Office prior to the beginning of the course. This course does not replace an approved traditional classroom delivery course. This course does not teach the student how to drive his or her selected apparatus. The course learning objectives validate that the driver can properly complete common maneuvering techniques of the vehicle in a controlled environment. The student must successfully complete the classroom portions, written examination and driving course to receive a certificate of attendance.  An EVOC certificate of attendance will be awarded to each student successfully completing the course.
